I temper this review by stating that our unit has only been in operation for 3 months, but it works well. You feel the steam more than you see the steam with this unit., which replaced a ROMA unit. The ROMA produced visible steam, but the effect is the same in my opinion. Over the period of time that we owned the ROMA unit (10+ years), it was temperamental and required in home tech service every year or so for one issue or another. We even had to send the unit back to ROMA one time for a major cleaning. Pain in the butt, right? Well that’s one of the reasons we selected EliteSteam. I was sold on the fact that their unit was a workhorse, not generally subject to the same finicky nature of the ROMA. Like I said, it’s only been. 3 months so far, but we’re pleased. . My only wish would be for a more visible steam, although if you closed your eyes you wouldn’t know the difference.

My plumber friend asked his supplier for a price on this unit and was quoted $2,500 his cost, I paid over $500 less here to replace the same model installed 14 years ago and it shipped to me in 2-3 days. The unit definitely is much faster steam wise!

We had an Elie Steam shower installed when we built our first home., We experienced no problems with our steam shower during the 9 years living there. We downsized our home and are finishing our basement in our new home. Decided, for multiple good reasons, to install another Elite Steam shower in my existing shower before the ceiling is sheet rocked. The instructions are so good on the website that I’m going to do as much of the install as possible myself. Contractor wanted $11,000, The cost of the Elite kit is $1700, I understand I will need some so assistance with some of the install items, I will post again on how things turned out.
